Missions

CAOG is committed to fulfilling our four-fold mission plan at Home (Chapel Hill it’s surrounding communities, North Carolina and throughout the USA), and the World (Africa Asia Pacific Eurasia Europe Latin America/Caribbean and Northern Asia).  Our mission is to evangelize the lost, worship God, disciple believers and show compassion wherever the Lord sends us.

In the book of Acts 1:8, Jesus told His apostles, “… and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Surely we can deduce that the ends of the earth extend to the United States as well as the World.  It is important that we stress the urgency of missions. In America alone, there is an estimated 105 million lost souls.  If we sit by and do nothing, there can be no doubt God will hold us accountable for letting these people die without Christ when it would have been so simple to share the gospel with them.

CAOG gives back 10% (tithes) of all our income (offerings) to missions.  In addition to our 10% going back into missions, CAOG is currently in a fundraising project to raise ($12,000 US Dollars) to build a church in San Pedro Sula, Honduras Central America.   Below is a current listing of the ministries we have made a commitment to support for 2010 and 2011.
