 Attributes
of Our God
You can use these
attributes to praise God and thank Him. It may sound like this…Lord you
are awesome! Your word says that you are great and awesome! You keep your
covenant of love with those who love you. And we love you Lord. For you are an
awesome God!
Awesome
Nehemiah 1:5 …O Lord, God of heaven,
the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with those who love
Him and obey His commands….
Psalm 111:9 He provided redemption for
His people; He ordained His covenant forever --holy and awesome is His name.
Changeless
Malachi 3:6 I the Lord do not change. So you, O
descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.
James 1:17 Every good and perfect
gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who
does not change like shifting shadows.
Comforter
Psalm 71:21 You
will increase my honor and comfort me once again.
Psalm 86:17 Give me a
sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you,
O Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
Psalm 119:76 May your unfailing
love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
Jeremiah
31:13 Then maidens will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will
turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of

Compassionate
Psalm 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a
compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and
faithfulness.
Psalm 145:8 The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to

Psalm 16:7 I will praise the
